Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge. Auto parts rent it.

I meant the radio shuts off when you switch to reverse or drive. I started the truck this morning and it works just fine though. Can a bad battery ground cause this?

Bad batteries cause all type of problems get it checked including a load test.
