The problem is that the brake pedal is soft and goes all the way to the floor, and a warning light of the braking system is on since a week. I went to the mechanic to change the pads, he told me that is no problem with the pads, but may be air entrapped so he bled the 4 wheels but the problem not resolved completely, it improved a little pit but it returns again after days. Brake pedal is soft, hitting the pedal several times while the engine is on or off the pedal is soft. I need to depress the pedal to the floor to stop the car and the immediately the ABS work? Please any one help me step by step what to do? And if there is a doubt from the master cylinder, how to make sure if it is working or need replacement?

Have the mechanic use his sscanner to bleed the brakes he can open the abs valves and then bleed it. It can take up to 3 quarts. You may have air trapped in one valve in abs unit which is quite common and causes your problem.

Thank you Hmac300 for your kind and quick response.
I dont know what the sscann is and how it should be used during bleeding procedure but I am sure that the mechanic dont use it, he only bleed the oil at the wheels and he didnt bled the abs valve. Can you help me if there is any source of information or vedio that show me step by step to follow, so I can diagnose the problem and solve it. Thank you again sir

You can't diagnose this the scanner is used by a pro mechanic and can read all systemson the car not like th autoparts one. If he doesn't have one he may try to power bleed the system I fnot he'll have to do the automated brake bleed procedure using the scan tool. We do not have the epica in the U.S.

Thank you very much sir.
I am not very much familiar with the car things
Iam a pediatric dentist and I can understand the childs feeling without he talk.
Anyway, I will go back to the mechanic and ask him to bleed the system again with abs valve.
Thank you sir very much.
Hope I can help you back any time you need.
