They ac was working just fine I. I made a stop at a store and when I started the car again the ac was making a loud rumbling noise like it was trying to hard or something was stuck inside. I turned up the heater to help isolate the problem but it is the same result in bot heat and ac. I am thinking it is the blower motor or the resistor relay but not 100% sure.

Is the noise coming from the passenger side under the dash?

That is what it sounds like. I can feel a slight vibration when I place my hand in that general area. It also gets louder and I turn the ac to its higher fan setting.

Either something has come loose or the fan motor is bad. Since the vehicle is so new, I would try to get consideration from GM because part of the dash needs removed to access the motor.

Thank you very much. I have one last question is it just the bottom part of the dash near the floor or will the upper dash need to be removed also.

If you remove the lower section and the glove box, you MAY be able to get into it. Not sure where you live, but there is even a chance that some mice got in there and built a nest.

Let me know how things work out for you.

Thanks for the assistance. It was just some tape in the impeller and the foam o-ring and gotten twisted in it as will. It was simple and effortless to correct.
