Recently i have noticed that the car has been over revving and a smell of burning plastic has been entering the car. The smell lingers for around 5 mins after the car has been switched off. The car is the 1.4tsi variant. I am due to take the car back to the main dealer for an unrelated issue soon. I have had a bad experiance with the main dealer recently and i don't trust anything i'm told by them. The cars 3 year warrenty is up in Feb which is the only reason i'm taking the car to the main dealers. Do you have any thoughts on what this problem could be?
