Pontiac G5 Tool Problem
How detailed, is the replacement of the CMP. I have heard various degrees of difficulty.

Its not hard to replace its above the starter only problem is once its replaced the new sensor must go thru a relearn process which you need a scan tool that can do that.A diyer scan tool cant do that.
