I recently inquired about the excessive play in steering that I have been encountering with my 2009 Dodge Charger. I had the rack replaced, 3 alignments, front and back brakes to include rotors, new tires, 3 tire rotations and rear shocks replaced. The car still wanders all over the road and is difficult to control. I have found 30 other complaints on the internet concerning the Dodge Charger, Magagum, 300C and other Chrysler car concerning steering issues. Are steering issues apart of all the steering designs for Dodge Vehicles? I drove on the highway on a windy day and my 2009 Dodge Charger front end blow around like it was a piece of paper. When I pulled over I realized it was'nt that windy out. How could this still be happening after all the alignments and other repairs that I have gotten on my car? The car continues to wander and has a pull to either the left of right. It changes as I drive. Sometimes the the steering wheel does stiffin up giving me more control and then it gets really loose. After visiting several websites, I found that many dodge owners are having this same problem. What should I do from this point? I started a lemon law claim against Dodge. I got the car in July of 2010 and four months later with 41,000 miles the problem of wander and front end control still persist.

According to Dodge, Bill Jacobs of Plainfield ( Illinios) and Midus the car's steering components are all "TIGHT". I have had 3 alignments all with in the past two months the last two within a matter of weeks. The car drifts in the front and the car is a hand full to drive on a windy day. Blows all around in the wind. I bought it used with 33,000.00 miles on it. Maybe someone before me wore out the suspension or hit a curb or something. Im at my wits end and its useless to take it back to the dealership. The steering various and changes as you drive. It really loose most of the time which decreases the amount of handling and control. I will never purchase from Dodge again. Cheap parts
