Every time the air is on circulate from out side in it has a bad smell, but when switched to circulate inside the smell goes away. When the air is off it still smells unless I press the circulation button.

It's more like a moldy smell. It's definitely not a burning smell

Yes I had it replaced a week ago because of this same problem and the smell went away but now its back

Try an aerosal spray for odors in Evaporator cvan get at parts store
