Car won't crank, dome and brake lights flicker, no head lights, humming from dashboard, key got stuck in ignition. Tried jumping no change, found how to get key out of ignition, door locks not working, security light and check engine light came on briefly, had to unlock door with key

Hello,

This happens when the battery shorts out internally causing he system to have no voltage even a jump will not help. You must remove the battery and install a new one. Here are a couple of guides to help you get the problem fixed.

and

Please let us know what happens.

I replace to transmission solenoids. It now will not crank or start. Could there be a security features on this car. I disconnected the battery and the ECM cables to be able to reach some of the transmission mounting bolt. Not sure if they may be the cause. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

I tried the reset how ever it still has no crank no start. Could disconnecting the ECM cause this? I no longer feel it is a security system issue. I can hear the fuel pump prime.

If the ECM was disconnected and you bent a pin then that could cause it. If your security light is on then a reset doesn't work you can do two things recheck all your work to make sure no wires were pinched and then have a mechanic scan for codes as something may be wrong with security not allowing it to start. Also, check all you fuses under hood as you may have blown one for the start system.

So after some research I disconnected the fuse box and cleaned the terminals. I also re-cleaned the terminals and connectors on the ECM. It will now crank but not start. The code that is showing up is p2101. Any thoughts as to what to check on next. I also disconnected the battery over night.

Unfortunately you have done something that will need to be physically seen as well as scanned with a pro scanner. There must be a can bus problem causing this unless battery is bad and I was assuming it was good or there is a serious problem with security system that a scanner may bring out.

Engine Mechanical problem
2006 Chevy HHR 4 cyl Automatic

I was driving on the freeway and suddenly my car stopped running. I coasted off the freeway and looked under the hood and I noticed I had no oil. Bone dry. Towed my car home and when the tow truck driver went to turn the key to turn my steering wheel the car almost turned over. Now it doesnt. Someone told me it might be the module. Can you help me?

No oil? Bone dry? I'd think it would be the engine seized up not a module. Especially if it doesn't turn over. Try to turn it over now an dif it just clunks then the engine is more than likely siezed
