2008 Passat Intermittent Tip-In Misfire
2008 2.0T (BPY) w/ 6spd auto trans. Ongoing intermittent misfire, seems to occur mostly on tip-in acceleration during engine warm-up.Most noticeable when cruising at 40 - 50 mph and gently accelerating.
81,000 miles, well maintained and runs well otherwise.
I replaced the spark plugs.
Problem persistent for about 6 tanks of fuel from good sources.
