Engine overheats only when stuck in traffic or long waiting on traffic congestion, A/C blows warmer only under these conditions, otherwise car and A/C work good at regular speeds. I checked the engine and found out that one of the two fans does not turn on when needed. Could this be the problem and if so, do I need to replace the fan assembly or could it be just a relay or fuse?

Depending on how mechanical you are we can either test the coolant sensor and module or just start with replacing the coolant temp sensor. This sensor is on the left (drivers) side of the engine on the head it is a 2 wire sensor with one tan and one yellow wire connected to it. If this sensor is reading wrong it won't tell the fans to come on. Let me know how it goes.

Hello, I have an issue with my 2008 Vue. When Its running with the incar circulation button on doesn't overheat. Soon I push the button where air coming into the car from the outside starts to bubble and shoot coolant everywhere from the coolant bottle breather. But soon I push the incar circulation button it drops down stops bubbling and goes normal. Any ideas? And heat is pumping normal.

Good morning,

I would start by replacing the thermostat. There may be little or no circulation in the system causing it to overheat.

The fact it is blowing all over could also be a head gasket failing. I would do a compression test to check to see if there is any fluid in the cylinders.
