Engine failure
Engine vacuum pump failure on a 308 after 36k miles

Things do fail, not much to do here but fit a new unit.

Thanks mhpautos for the reply,
I understand things fail. what surprised me was the amount of damaged it has caused to the engine, and it has left me with a £2000 repair bill.

What else failed, or is the pump that expensive on it's own?
