My repair manual on my 2008 Nissan Altima states to drain your transmission oil completely. I can't find the drain plug anywhere. Where is it located? I hope that I don't have to drop the transmission oil pan to do this. I have crawled under the car with good lighting and do not see any type of drain plug.

Thanks for such a quick response. I looked under the car again and there is no drain plug for my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. My manual says there should be one but it isn't. It is automatic. What is the best way to change the transmission oil? Drop the pan or disconnect the supply line to the radiator? Any suggestion short of bringing it to the dealer would help. Thanks in advance.
