Nissan Altima Battery Problem

About 3 months ago I realized it was time to change my battery because it was leaking acid and noticed that the charge wasn't as strong.

I have a six speed manual transmission, when the car is in neutral and coming to a stop it sometimes feels like it wants to stall. There are no engine lights on the dash board, this happens not too often maybe once or twice a day driving 40K. I wonder if it is a dirty fuel system, but when this happens i simply tap on the gas to kick it back in. It feels almost as if the car was in gear when coming to a stop without having the clutch in. Odd.

Any assistance will be very much appreciated. Have a great day.

Symptoms indicates the idling speed is too low and that could be due to the battery/charging system or a dirty throttle body.
