My 2008 Nissan Altima is overheating. I put coolant in the radiator but it seems to not keep the coolant in. The radiator doesn't have any leaks. It seems as if the coolant is transferred to the reservoir but it doesn't come back to the radiator; maybe causing the car to begin overheating. At first I thought it could be the radiator cap but I replaced it and it still seems to overheat after using it for a long drive. Does anyone know what could be the issue? Is it the thermostat? Radiator hoses or maybe the cap is not maintaining the necessary pressure? If anyone could provide me with some type of information I would truly appreciate it. At least with some advice of what steps I should take next. Thanks

I think my problem was the same as yours.I pressure tested my rad and it leaked on the drivers side of the car near the lower rad hose.I disassembled the car today and found that the hose clamp was only half there. They are the same clamps chrysler is having on their vehicles. They are the sqeezable clamps.I replaced the clamp and refilled cooling system and all is fixed. Hope this helps. Terry
