WARNING! THE STEERING IN MERCURY MARINERS IS NOT POWER STEERING, IT IS ELECTRIC POWER STEERING. NO FLUID REQUIRED. NOTICING A LOT OF MARINER'S ARE HAVING STEERING ISSUES, INCLUDING MY OWN VEHICLE. PLEASE CALL THE NHTSA TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT SO WE CAN GET A RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE FIX AND NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. You may file your own complaint by calling the NHTSA Monday-Friday 8am to 8pm at (888) 327-4236

I have a formal complaint listed with them already. They only have a handful of the complaints because people are not aware they have to file a complaint with them in order for a recall to happen.
