2008 Lincoln MKX Repair Question

2008 MKX Signal Bulb
Need to replace the driver side rear turn signal bulb. Removed the 2 screws from the black plastic cover in the cargo area, but that cover seems to be attached to the outer lens cover and won't come off. Help and THANKS!!

With the screws out, the lens assembly should hing outward so you can access the bulb / socket.
