Honda Civic Cv boot Problem
How do you grease the CV boots or axel?

You need to be able to undo the boot clamps and slide the boot back, re pack the CV and refit the boot with new clamps, if it is knocking, then it is probably to late now the damage has been done and the CV or shaft as an assembly should be replaced.
