2008 Ford Contour Repair Question

Jumping a battery caused air bags to pop
My son jumped his battery and caused the air bags to go off but not deploy. The dealer said that the control module, inflater, and all of the bags need to be replaced. Does this sound correct? Are there and relays that should have prevented this?

it probably wasnt' jumped correctly and the dealer is assuming all that was damaged. He is probably telling you that due to not being checked out first.
