Dodge Charger Egr valve Problem

My 2.7L charger's check engine light just started going on, i had it coded and it was the egr valve, at the same time, i have been noticing hesitation while at slow acceleration, and around 40mph or so with steady acceleration, will this go away when the egr valve is fixed?

It is possible as the EGR could be causing exhaust issues or affacting the oxygen sensor. It is truly hard to say. It would be related to either but you could have another issue caused by the EGR failing in the emissions system. Replace the EGR and re code the trouble codes. If nothing comes up there may be a blockage in the exhaust.
