Acceleration problem

Car idles at 800rpm, try to accelerate and revs between 800rpm and 2000rpm splutters and pops feels like it wants to pull but will drop back to 800rpm, be glad for any advice, car ran sweet for the last four years until this issue, many thanks!

Hello,

It sounds like you have a catalytic converter that could be plugged but to confirm here is a guide to help confirm the issue.

I had this problem is was low fuel pressure I had to get a new fuel pump to fix it.

My c2 ticks over perfectly but as I apply accelerator there is no power to drive off as if it wants to cut out but doesn't.

Dear Rasmataz, I went over the guide and found the fuel pump was bad I had it replaced and all good.
