Chevrolet Silverado Cv joint Problem
Make truck is making a thumping sound every once in awhile when it gets locked into auto 4wd. it comes and goes , and sometimes may not do it for a few days . what could that be? Ive been told cv joint or u joints . what could that cost me to put in ?

could be but i would look at the motor mounts first. make sure they are not worn or broken.
