I was told the cam positioning sensor went out on my Toyota FJ Cruiser. Now the code reader won't read anything (sensor has NOT been replaced yet). My mechanic told me he thinks the motor is locked up. This cannot be! It has never ran low or without water or oil and everything was fine and the truck sounded and ran good before this. I had one sensor replaced already and the truck did the same thing when that one needed replacing. All the panel lights came on and then it just shut off.

If it won't turn over try resetting security system see if it will start. If it won't turn over try to turn over byhand with a wrench. If it won't do that then the engine may be locked up or a cam is frozen.
