Toyota Corolla Engine Problem

WHAT IS MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN IF THE CRANK IS NOT ABLE TO FULLY TURN ALL THE WAY AROUND....ONLY 15 DEGREES AND STOPS SUDDENLY?

Valves hitting the pistons or the engine is locked up.

Lack of oil bearing failure rod crank etc i have seen tons of siezed engines.
