TOYOTA CAMRY FUSE PROBLEM

2007 Toyota Camry • 103,000 miles

The high beam head lights will not turn off even with the car turn off and the keys out of the ignition.I had to take out the fuses to get them to go out.

This is (more than likely) either going to be your control switch or a relay.

The switch only controls a relay. Relays have points and can get stuck /burned together. Is this a HID light setup? HID's use a lot of juice; and so this also can encourage a relay to get jammed.

First thing would be to obtain a FACTORY relay. A 2007 - they are probably still available. Definitely available used from manual places such as books4cars. Com.

Or, you can purchase a Hanes or Chiltons. But FACTORY are much better.

After that - the location of the head-lamp relay will be very easy. Replace it. If that doesn't work - the factory manual will have diagnostic steps to take which will pinpoint the problem.
