What could cause both key fobs to stop working (including remote start)?

I drove through a flash flood a year ago and soon afterward my fobs stopped working completely. No water appeared to get inside the car, but I can find no other source of the problem. Batteries have all been changed and the fuses are all okay. Where do I start after that?
