COOLANT LEAK 07
2007 Pontiac G6 • 6 cylinder FWD Automatic • 67,000 miles
I noticed my 07 G6 was blowing cold air rather than heat when the car was parked or stoped at a light, i noticed my coolant was low so i filled my overflow tank to the cold fill line with recommended dex cool and went for a ride, my heat returned nol problem... 4 hours after the ride when cooled down i checked level again and noticed it was considerably lower so i added more only this time i mistakenly added abot 3/4 of an inch too much...i went for 15 minute drive and then noticed fluid leaking...i once again cooled car started and when it warmed up i noticed fluid steady drip from what seems to be a hole under the overflow tank (clearly the hole belongs there)...the level is still just above the over flow line...i dont know if this leak was happening before but i dont think it was...is this hole under the tank suppose to leak maybe due to my over filling? or is this a sign of a bigger problem...please help any info or help would be very useful
