Cruise control stopped working

The cruise control has stopped working on my vehicle listed above DCI Adventura. It comes on, but when you try to set a speed, it will not do it.
The engine light came on when the particulate light came on, but the particulates would not clear, then the cruise control stopped working. Once the garage had sorted out the particulate problem, that light went off, but the engine light stayed on with the cruise control still not working. Can you please tell me why this would be and how to fix it (as cheaply as possible)? Thank you.

Hello,

It sounds like it could be a fuse 20, 12, 14, 19, or the clock spring in the steering wheel has gone bad which is common. To confirm the issue here is a guide and the system wiring diagrams so you can check the system to see what happened. If the fuses are good test through the clock spring.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run some tests and get back to us.

Cheers
