Want to do my timing chain an gears
I would like to do my timing chain and gears ,do I need special tools and can you send me a diagram of the cam gears . It's my first time that I am Going to work on a merc .I am a qaulified mechanic and I live in South Africa .

I have attached an image for the timing chain on a 2007 C230. My reference material doesn't include a C200. The closest I have is B200 and C230 because my resource is US only. Hope it helps. From what I can see, the only special thing you should need, besides gear pullers and torque wrench, is a flat bar to line up the cams properly and keep them from moving.
