2007 Jaguar XK8 Repair Question

Jaguar noise
Hello, I have a 2007 Jaguar XK convertible with the base 4.2L engine. I noticed a fairly loud whistling/chirping noise coming from the passenger side. It is not a belt as the sound is there regardless of the engine running or not. I can also hear it if the ignition is on and the stereo is off. Any ideas?

Based on the year, I feel it may have something to do with the EVAP system (emissions system). Thus, it is under 100% warranty by the manufacturer. Check to see if there are vacuum leaks, or a problem with the EVAP system which will be covered by warranty.
