Noise, One Solid Click Only
2007 Hyundia Sonata....When I attempted to start the vehicle, the vehicle briefly started then shut off. When tried to start again, the vehicle would not start at all and when I turn the ignition key, I hear one solid click only not a rapid clicking noise.

Have the starter tested.
Try a jump start.

I tried to jump start the vehicle with no success. Do you still think the starter needs to be checked? The battery is brand new on the vehicle.

If a jump start does not work, then you need to test the starter as it is emitting a solid ckick.
Try tapping the starter with a mallet and retest if it works.
