Hyundai Santa Fe Engine Problem
My car has started some hizing sound like sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee when i press the accelerator hard. this thing started a week ago and as at now the car is losing power. even if i press the acceleartor fully the maximum speed i could get is 50km/h. moreover the car stared consuming more fuel since that sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound started. please help me. it is a diesel engine

Check the drivebelt and its driven components. Seems like one of the components has a bad bearing and is dragging on the engine.
