2007 Hyundai i30 Repair Question

Car emits a whistle (bit like a Cricket's noise) with clutch disengaged. If I press the clutch just an inch, it dissapears
Thanks for any help you can give. If you have expertise in this area, I also wondered if the problem might be covered by the Hyundai five-year warranty?

This will be a faulty clutch thrust bearing, the box will have to be removed to fix this problem, if left it will get worse to the stage that the bearing may seize.
