2007 Hummer H3, shut off engine open drivers door and the radio does not shut off. If I open any other door it will shut off. Why will opening the drivers door not shut off radio?

More than likely it has a faulty(open) door jamb switch. To validate, you can either remove it, disconnect and short the terminals together, or switch it with a switch from another location.

I'm having this same issue. I've changed out door switches that work and it still won't shut the radio or power to the car off. If I open any other door it will. All switches have been tested and are good. Any ideas? 07 h3
