OK, I saw somebody else here had this problem. 07 Focus power steering groans like its low on fluid. But next day it is fine, and fluid is always fine. In my case I notice this in cold weather ONLY AFTER I ACCELERATE HARD RIGHT AFTER STARTING. My mileage sucks and the steering groans. It doesn't get better until I let the car sit. Is the belt slipping? Or is the sudden acceleration throwing the PS fluid away from the pump? Help.
