How tight should the tensioner pivot point bolt for the serpentine belt be?
2007 Ford Five Hundred SEL 3.0L V6.
I just replaced the alternator & serpentine belt. Does the tensioner pivot bolt need to be tightened or torqued to a specific amount?
(I don't understand how it can maintain constant, adequate tension on the belt if it's extremely tight, but I'm not certain. Thanks for your help).
Thanks for your help.
