2007 Dodge Magnum Repair Question

PUTTING IN NEW STARTER
AFTER WE INSTALLED STARTER , IT SPINS BUT DOESNT ENGAGE INTO THE FLY WHEEL AND DOESNT TURN THE MOTOR OVER.

Sounds like the starter motor drive is too far from the flexplate try shimming closer to the flexplate
