Scan the computer for code/s and check what's in there as far as hard and soft code/s that are stored

Whats the difference between a soft and hard code? Is there a way to retrieve information once they are cleared? Is the dealership able to do that?

The informed me that the only information is the current trouble codes. Is there something I could ask for?

There are 7,000 codes and yes with a scanner 99 is the maximum amount of codes it can read at one time

What do you mean by reflash? I'm just learning about car repair since our insurance company has chosen to only fix point of impact damage, leaving us with leaks in the cooling engine and beak line. Nice! Think it might be time for a new car.
