Still running rough when going between 1000 and 2000 RPM?

Car was running rough-had EGR replaced, spark plugs gapped and wire replaced. Still running rough when going between 1000 and 2000 rpm and going up hills! Help don't want to spend any more money and refuse to go to dealer

Hello,

So it appears the engine runs rough under load at low RPM.
This could be due to weak spark plugs. Even though they are gapped properly, if the electrode is worn then you could have this type of misfire.

This can also be due to a dirty mass air flow sensor.
Overtime the sensor will get dirty and that can impact the drivability.
The sensor can be service by cleaning it out.

Also sometimes when the engine runs rough or misfires, it triggers the check engine light. Is your check engine light illuminated? If so get it scanned and retrieve the codes. It can help with the diagnostics of the issue.
