2007 Chevy Tahoe - Rear Tailgate
My rear lift gate doesn't open automatically anymore. It stops about 1/3 of the way up and closes again. When I open it manually I have to hold it open or it will fall down. What's the fix for this.

Check the struts for visible sign of leakage. If none are visibly leaking, either/or may be bad. You would have to remove each and manually compress. The weak one is the bad one. Or you could always replace both.
