Chevrolet Tahoe Battery Problem

I have a 2007 Tahoe with a battery about a year old (aftermarket). The vehicle has required jump starting twice because the battery was dead. Batteries Plus says the alternator is working. However, I notice that the panel gauge shows just above 14 most of the time, as it has during the life of the vehicle, but also shows somewhat lower (around the 1030 mark if it were a clock face).

So, I suppose there is something intermittent going on, but what?

Have the battery itself tested first and then have it tested for a parasitic draw on the system.
