2006 Volvo S40 Repair Question

Car will not start
My 2006 s40 volvo will not start. All lights and radio works in the car. One side of the battery was corroded. do i need a new battery or something else.

What is it doing? cranks over and will not start or just won't crank over at all/nothing??
