VW GLI Door switches
Hi - having 2 issues w/ switches on my driver's side door on my '06 VW GLI (Jetta):
1) no switches work when the door is open in the 2 outer-most positions (they work when the door is closed, and just cracked open, but not when the door is settled into one of the more open positions)
The switches are the windows, gas & trunk
2) The auto-close on this door (driver's) is now intermittent. It SOMETIMES closes w/ just a quick pull of the button, and other times it doesn't. I can't seem to find a pattern as to when it works vs. when it doesn't.

Check to see if you have an open or broken wires in the harness between the door and body.
