2006 Vauxhall Astra Won't start

Hi I've put a performance air filter on my car and it was running fine when I put it on the drive it idled for a few minutes then cut out and now it won't start at all it splutters occasionally but that's about it I tried letting it cool down but still nothing.
Any ideas on what mite be causing this?

Did you remove any of the sensors in the air intake system? Also, have you checked to see if there is spark to the plugs and if the fuel pump pressure is within the manufacturer's specs?
