2006 Saturn Ion Repair Question

2006 saturn ion
Ok so my battery went dead, so i jump started it. now the speedometer will not work the check motor light stays on and it is running very bad. how can i fix it

Have you checked all your fuse's?Did you jump it at the battery or under the hood?Also what code's do you have?You didn't jump it back ward's did you?
