Screaming engine
Over revving (screaming) engine - yesterday our 307 sw hdi lost power then suddenly screamed her guts out! blue smoke billowed from the exhaust! what happened, is this going to be expensive? she is only about 5 years old.

Have the engine compression check -could be rings/valves and cylinder wear that created the blue smoke-
