Nissan Altima Alternator Problem
My son's car constantly dies, even on the interstate. He has replaced the alternator 3x and the battery twice. What could be causing this problem. Everyone just says alternator and battery, but I know there is something else wrong.

Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing?
Can you describe the engine cutting off in more details? How did you get it to restart?
