2006 Mitsubishi Galant NO Start

One morning car decided to not start, put a starter in because it was bad, changed crank sens, cam sens, batt.
Son says it had no spark, Now.I was given a silver key with a remote attached, but no case, was told to never separate them, never have, but it did come apart where you would need to. Change the battery, would this cause the car not to start? Maybe needs reprogram? No lights on dash with a car and key, so not sure, all locks and trunk works, wants to turn over but won't, please help a single mom.

Try resetting security system first if no manual look online and make sure battery is in right on key fob.

Thank you for the reply Hmac 300.
Alarm works for locks, trunk, alarm, so I know the battery is in correct.
How do you reset the security system?Can't take the car to dealer, or should I just walk in bent over?Lol.

Likei said in first reply, look in manual if no manual look online under resetting security system for your type of car.
