On occasion the computer reads out pre- safe off see owners manual while driving. When this occurs the transmission clunks .
When the trans clunks the car remains in the gear that it was in when the computer displayed the pre- safe warning. When I restart the car the computer resets itself and the transmission is back to normal

I would get this checked by a Benz trans specialist, i feel that this need to be investigated first hand.
