Re: 2006 Mazda 3 GT, 2.3L engine. Where is the alarm fuse located? Accorrding to the owner's manual, it should be in slot #57 in the passenger footwell fuse panel but that slot is empty! My alarm keeps going off arbitrarily.
Thanks.

Check the door switches. Any misalignment of doors or hood can trigger the alarm when slight vibrations occurs to vehicle as the switches have minimal cotacts to close them.

The alarm uses the room fuse

Thanks for the reply. I'll check the door switches. Is anything else covered by the "room" fuse? Is there an alarm relay that powers the hazards and horn? Would that be a better interin solution?

Thanks.

The hazards and horns are controlled by the alarm control module and only trigggerring the alarm would activate them.
