Brake Operation

Trying to determine how the master brake cylinder works on this car. I believe it has a hyd press pump built in it. Does it still need engine vacuum to work. I'm flat towing behind a motor home and want to get a aux brake system for it, like brake buddy, or blue ox, or road master. They work by applying brake press to the brake peddle.

No, this system does not use engine vacuum. Master booster is electronically controlled abd requires the ignition switch to be in the ON position.

Turning the ignition off and deprssing the brake pedal repeatedly would result in strike getting longer and longer as pressure is released from system.
